Cécilia and Stella met in high school where they discovered they shared the same last name and love for hockey. They were later roommates in Montreal where they held crazy fondue parties at their ridiculously ill-insulated Pine avenue apartment. Cécilia, Jean-Philippe and bébé Louis-Gabriel now live in Ottawa.
Valeriu and Dumitru met in Bremen where they discovered a shared passion for beer and science. They have reconnected in Montreal, where he worked as a bouncer. Dr. Valeriu Predoi is now a postdoctoral fellow at Ryerson University in Toronto.
Victor and Natalia Slanina are old friends from Moldova. They have graciously accepted to become our godparents. We have shared many story and laughter filled meals with them and look forward to seeing their family grow. They live in Anjou with their daughter Nicole, their son Théo, their Moldovan cat Fox and a new parakeet.
